دن سہانے تلاش کرتے ہو – گم خزانے تلاش کرتے ہو
خود مٹائے ہمارے قلب و جگر – اب ٹھکانے تلاش کرتے ہو
عشق برحق، وفا حقیقت ہے – تم فسانے تلاش کرتے ہو
وہ پلٹ کر کبھی نہ آئیں گے – جو زمانے، تلاش کرتے ہو
یہ قفس ہے، چمن نہیں یارو – آشیانے تلاش کرتے ہو
میرے قلب جگر کی خیر نہیں – تم نشانے تلاش کرتے ہو
اُن کو ڈھونڈو یہیں کہیں دل میں – بے ٹھکانے، تلاش کرتے ہو
اُنکے کوچے کی خاک ہے اکسیر – کیوں خزانے تلاش کرتے ہو
مست آنکھوں سے کیوں نہیں پیتے – بادہ خانے تلاش کرتے ہو
صاف کہ دو اگر نہیں ملنا – کیوں بہانے تلاش کرتے ہو
سب نئے رنگ ڈھونڈتے ہیں نصیرؔ – تم پرانے تلاش کرتے ہو

Golden Days
Looking for the good days? Looking for the lost treasures!
After destroying my heart and soul; Now you are looking for the abode.
Love is truth, faithfulness is a reality; You are looking for the fables.
They will never come back again; The times/days you are looking for.
Friends, this is a cage not a garden; Where you are looking for a nest.
My heart and soul are not safe; As you are looking for a target.
Look for him somewhere here in this heart; You are Looking for him at a wrong place.
The dust of his street is elixir; Why are you looking for the treasures?
Why don’t you drink from the intoxicated eyes; Why are you looking for the taverns?
Tell me clearly if you don’t want to meet. Why are you looking for the excuses?
Naseer! Everyone is looking for the new colors;
You are you looking for the old ones.
